So You Think You Can Dance

I am totally loving this show! We watched it in earnest starting last season . . .Wednesday and Thursday nights found us parked in front of the TV. I’ve wondered why I like this show better than the other dance shows, and I think it’s a great mix of different dance styles as well as regular every day people. Plus, I’m a bit of a closet dancer . . . no, I really don’t dance at all, but I wish I could. I have this idea in the back of my brain that says I could’ve been a good dancer had I taken dance lessons as a child. Alas, such is not the case, so I live vicariously through fab shows like SYTYCD.

Another season has begun and we are here again. I imagine it will take a week or two to get to know the contestants and find the ones we love. I’m not sure that we’ll love it as much as last season, since that was our 1st love. There were some amazing dancers last season. We loved Twitch, and Jason and Katie and Will (I cried when Will was voted off. Of course, I was pregnant and depressed so emotions were a bit bonkers, but still, Will is such a great dancer, I was sad to see him go.) So, we’ll see who we love this season.

One of my fav judges is Lil C . . . I always love to hear what he has to say . . . he’s so intelligent and makes really good comments and uses uncommon vocab . . . and his constructive criticism is delivered so eloquently. It’s fantastic. I’m amused that oftentimes the dancers seem to be thinking, “what the HECK is he talking about!” Anyhu, he’s my fav.
