Well, they’ve been done for quite a few months now, I just haven’t gotten around to posting the pics. Of course, were I to make more, I would change some things, but overall, I’m pretty pleased with the results.

Let’s start with The Studio Diaper Bag™ . Originally I had thought it was the best diaper bag, but after using it and the others for months now, it’s at the bottom of the list. Whenever I use it, I end up with lots of “uncategorized” stuff that isn’t in a pocket and is just floating in the bag. I still use it, but only if I’m going out for a VERY short trip and am carrying dipes and undies, just in case.

Next I completed the Bungalow Diaper Bag™. This is our workhorse bag that both DH and I LOVE!! It’s just about the perfect size for most outings, we love the bright fabric, and the pockets are super useful. After using it for about 5-6 months without The Moored Purse™, I finally broke down and made a matching purse. Sometimes, I just wanted to be able to leave the diaper bag in the care and just carry in my wallet, keys and cellphone. But, with two LO’s and no pockets, I often was stuck lugging the whole bag into the store. I have yet to fix the strap on the purse, having a wee bit of drama with that, so I haven’t actually been able to test out the two (diaper bag and purse) together. They sure look great, IMHO!

Along about December, I finished the Chateau Diaper Bag™. It’s GIANT! But, it’s great for the long trips. We took it on our first plane trip with the babes and it worked like a dandy. The strap still is a bit issued, but it works, by and large. It’s quite heavy when it’s full, but if you wear it messenger style, it’s great.

Sooo, the diaper bag saga is over, for the time being. I gained a ridiculous amount of sewing know-how in the process and I gained a huge sense of accomplishment, knowing that I’d designed not one, not two, but THREE functional diaper bags from scratch!!
