Trouble ahead

The moving truck will be here in seven days. Yipee! Hooray! . . . . . . PANIC! I’m officially in panic mode. 85% of our belongings are boxed, but I’m still panicking, because what’s left is all of the hard stuff, that takes a good, long time. Granted, the packers are coming on Friday, so they’ll be able to pick up the slack and take care of what we don’t get around to.

Except for the sewing machines. Yes, I’m sure they would gladly package them up, but I don’t at all believe that they would pack them with the diligence demanded by a 35 lb cast iron piece of equipment. So I need to do them myself. This wouldn’t be a problem, if it wouldn’t have taken me THE. ENTIRE. DAY. to pack one machine. Yeah, you read that right, O-N-E machine! I’m totally freaking out, here! I know that the machine is well packed and it will arrive safely. But good grief . . . at this rate, it will take me five more days to get the rest of the machines packed! I’m pretty sure that it will go faster as I go along, but I’m not feeling too hopefully . .. really, I’m just seeing trouble ahead!

On the bright side, I’m going to have a GREAT tutorial for packing sewing machines in the next day or two=)
