Supporting Research

At the beginning of this year, I got an email from a guy name Kwen Griffeth. He told me had a friend who also was dealing with breast cancer, and he wanted to do something to raise money to help fund research to improve cancer treatment. He wrote an e-book called “The Ghost in the Mini Skirt” with the hope of selling it to raise funds for breast cancer research. I was given a copy of the book to review and then to promote. Well, that was back in February. This summer blew up on me (thank you chemo and radiation!) and I just didn’t get around to writing up the blog post. I figured since it’s now December, I’d better get a move on! If I recall correctly, his goal was to raise $200,000 this year. The book was a fun book, quick and easy read, what I’d call “beach reading”. If you are looking for something fun to read, I’d recommend getting the book. His book sells for $3.99 on Amazon and $1 from each sale will go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
