Stroller explosion October 14, 2009

Being a diehard babywearing fan, I find it mildly amusing that so many strollers live at our house. It started with a simple, cheap umbrella stroller. We were then gifted a slightly nicer umbrella stroller (this one had a storage basket). Then we bought our Bumbleride which I mainly use when I walk for exercise. I decided that I wanted to have a side-by-side stroller to keep in the truck, just in case I didn’t feel like trying to wear one or both of the babes. I got a Graco Duoglider (a tandem stroller) from soneone on Freecycle and that lived in my truck, until I went to use it one day and noticed a mouse had made a nest and had chewed a hole in the seat. (SIGH). I was going to get rid of it, when I saw someone offering 3 strollers on Freecycle. I managed to reply in time and went to pick them up the next day. So are you keeping track? Yeah, that’s not one, not two, not three, but SEVEN strollers that were living at our house! It struck me as hilarious, so I HAD to drag them all out into the yard and take a picture.
L to R: InStep Jogger, InStep umbrella stroller, Graco single stroller, Cosco umbrella stroller, Graco DuoGlider, Umbrella stroller, Bumbleride Indie Twin
Happily, I got rid of most of them. I gave away an umbrella stroller, the umbrella with the basket and the tandem stroller. The InStep jogging stroller went to my brother, so now we are back to three . . .PHEW!
This website was… how do I say it? Relevant!!
Finally I’ve found something which helped me. Thanks a lot!
